Basscat Boats Film and Photo Shoot
Tuesday, The production company my company has in house set off to shoot some infomercial and commercial footage for Basscat Boats one of our show sponsors. BCB is also a personal sponsor of mine and since I am always in need of good stills they let me tag along and "help" out and shoot a stills while we were on the water. The day started early and we were all ready to roll but the fog and mother nature had other plans. We launched the rigs and waited it out. While waiting we rolled some B-roll footage and shot a few still silhouettes against the fog. Once the fog had lifted we had glass to run on and man it was right! We got the film footage out of the way and then it was my turn to do what I have absolutely started loving to do, shooting running shots. This set-up usually sets me up on the front deck of the boat (its elevated mind you) running around the mid 70's in terms of miles per hour. If you don't understand, the best way to describe it would be to sit on the hood of your truck while your buddy drives you down the road at 75mph all the while your holding a 3 pound camera in your hand trying to shoot pictures, good pictures at that!
(please do not try this, bad example!) Anyway, We got some good shots and some filler for the BCB guys and hopefully they will be happy once the final production is complete. Thanks to Chunky-M for letting me tag along, K-Pink, Stone, Michael and Rick Pierce of Basscat Boats for letting me tag along and help out and for all they do. Enjoy and God Bless. CB
Note: We also had a litte fun with Elite Series Pro Marty Stone. Stone is bald as bald can be and he showed up like this. Check it out. http://www.wired2fish.com/WhatsUp.aspx?ArticleID=750
