I broke out of the norm today as I have been doing lately and shot some Corporate Headshots for a not for profit here in town. Not sure if you can say "Corporate and Not for Profit" all in the same sentence but I did. Took the whole get-up this morning and set-up a background, lights and the whole she-bang. Pretty impressed I might add. Heres a shot from the set up........forgot to get permission to show the people but just imagine someone sitting there looking pretty.
Turkey Time!
I used to write for a small time local newspaper until the sports editor left and they stopped running my stories. Nothing big, a free gratis deal that allowed me to talk about the outdoors, my faith and a few other things I deemed important, nothing much really. So here, all you lucky readers get subjected to my annual "What are you thankful for?" submission. So? What are you thankful for? For me its several things, my family obviously and all they love and support they have shown throughtout the year. The Good Lord above for blessing my family like he has and for the confidence I have in him as I follow him in all these endeavors I find myself involved in throughout the year. Without him and his guidance I am nothing and can do nothing.
My friends and "Brothers from another Mother" as they refer to themselves and many others who have touched my life and I wont get long winded but think about all of those around you whom you should be thankful for, its a pretty small world when you think about and if your like me you have plenty to be thankful for. Tell someobody "Thanks" tomorrow as you finish up a short week and then give the family a big hug this weekend as you gather for some good food.
Thanks, Happy Holidays and War Eagle!
